The dental team at the Park Road Dental Practice are committed to providing you and your family with a high quality of preventive and restorative dentistry. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. We use modern technology in addition to the tried and tested methods for restoring and replacing teeth, including implants.

Specialist Consultant Dentist and Practice Owner

Judith Wickens BDS MSc FDS RCS

I was a consultant at the Eastman Dental Hospital and then Southampton Primary Care Trust until 2012. After purchasing the practice in 1999, my focus is now on the provision of Specialist Restorative Dental Services for registered or referral patients here on the Isle of Wight. I has been placing and restoring Implants since 1990.

General Dentist

Elizabeth Blowers BDS

I joined the practice in 2025 after working for many years across the island in general practices in the NHS and private sector. I have been enjoying getting to know the patients at Park Road on Wednesdays. I work as a general dentist, providing routine care and working closely with the hygienists to support the care of our patients.

Office Manager

Sophie French

After being an SEN teacher for 8 years, I have moved over into the Dental field as the practice manager. It has been a joy to get to know the patients since I joined the practice full-time in 2025. Outside of work, I enjoy being outside, and you will often find me walking my dog or at the beach!

I started working at Park Road Dental Practice over 35years ago as a dental nurse. Outside of work, you may see me on my motorcycle, the horse or out taking photos. I can be spotted by a streak of blue hair zooming past...

Trainee Nurse

Liliia Omelchenko

I am originally from Ukraine and have been living on the Isle of Wight for the past three years. I really enjoy my life on the island, especially Gurnard and its wonderful community atmosphere.

Before Moving to the UK, I completed a Master's degree. I am now retraining as a dental nurse at Park Road Dental Practice. I am passionate about developing my skills with advanced techniques and providing the best possible care for patients.

I started working at Park Road Dental Practice in 1988 as a dental nurse, prior to qualifying as a hygienist at the Eastman Dental hospital 34 yrs ago. I still love my job and enjoy seeing my regular patients and meeting new ones. I take pride in helping all patients achieve healthier, brighter smiles and seeing nervous patients confidence grow.

Charlotte Cantello

My Name is Charlotte and I qualified from Bristol University in 2013 and was a dental nurse prior. I enjoy seeing a wide range of patients, especially supporting anxious patients to feel more comfortable in our setting. I believe all patients should receive tailored and compassionate care.
